TOC, is thrilled to announce the launch of its pioneering Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Fellowship Program, designed to empower postgraduate PAs to excel in the specialized field of Orthopedic Surgery.

“The continued evolution of the Physician Assistant role is mission critical in ensuring there is an adequate supply of providers to care for our extensive patient population spanning across Georgia and Florida,” stated TOC CEO Mike Boblitz. “Our priority is to provide post graduate Physician Assistants the opportunity to advance their knowledge skills and competition in the field of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.”

The TOC PA-C Fellowship Program spans 14 months and offers an immersive experience in various subspecialties within orthopedic surgery, including Foot & Ankle, Hand & Wrist, Joint Reconstruction, General Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Trauma, and Pediatrics.

“The accountability and exposure to various orthopedic pathologies are remarkable,” says Danny Engle, PA-C, Program Director of the TOC PA Fellowship. “TOC’s investment in advancing our peers’ capabilities is evident. The fellowship experience is a career springboard, providing invaluable competencies and experiences.”

Throughout the program, Fellows will participate in clinical injection management, implant placements, graft preparations, and biologic procedures, gaining hands-on experience in various facets of orthopedic care. Additionally, Fellows will fulfill all criteria for the Certificate of Additional Qualifications in Orthopedic Surgery, setting them apart with an extra board certification.
