Cells Remain Viable When Collected With an In-Line-Suction Tissue Collector From Byproducts of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Surgery

The purpose of this study was to determine if a tissue collection instrument could capture cell byproducts from the ACL during surgery, describe the cell types collected, and determine if stem cells were identified from the tissue collected. The authors found that stem cells can be harvested from the byproducts of ACL arthroscopic surgery.
