Eric A. Branch, M.D.

Dr. Eric A. Branch is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with special training in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He treats patients with complex musculoskeletal issues resulting from injury, overuse, and arthritis.

Dr. Branch is a native of Florida and graduated from the University of Florida with a BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering. After graduation, he worked for the Department of Defense as a flight test engineer and a civilian pilot/flight instructor before pursuing a career in medicine. He earned his medical degree from Florida State University. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of South Florida. He then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Andrews Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, FL, under the tutelage of Dr. James Andrews. While at Andrews Institute, he assisted in the care of a wide variety of patients, including professional, collegiate, and recreational athletes, including the University of West Florida Athletics.

Outside of orthopedics, he cherishes quality time with his wife, Liz, and their three sons. His love of aviation is strong as he maintains his pilot and flight instructor certificates and eagerly jumps at any chance for a recreational flight. He also enjoys an occasional round of golf.
