Dr. Aaron Guyer joined TOC in 2007 and specializes in foot and ankle surgery. He is in practice at our Capital Medical Boulevard location. Dr. Guyer is one of TOC’s Foot and Ankle Specialists. He serves as one of the Team Physicians for Florida State University and is the primary foot and ankle consultant to all of FSU athletics.
Dr. Guyer completed his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee (2006-2007), following an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Michigan (2001-2006). He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the State University of New York (S.U.N.Y.) at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York (2001), and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Summa Cum Laude with Honors, from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina (1997).
A highlight of Dr. Guyer’s career includes his current role as President of the Florida Orthopaedic Society and his chairmanship of the Practice Management Committee for the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. His diverse interests in sports such as cycling, triathlon, running, and skiing reflect his dedication to maintaining an active and well-rounded lifestyle.
Dr. Guyer is currently a consultant and lecturer for Arthrex, Inc. in Naples, Florida. Dr. Guyer is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and holds medical licenses in Florida and Georgia.
