Comparison of cannulated screws with FiberWire or stainless steel wire for patella fracture fixation: A pilot study (2015)

When the knee cap is fractured, it can be surgically repaired using steel wiring. In a study using cadavers, FiberWire offered similar resistance to fracture displacement during simulated loading on the knee.
