Autologous Stem Cells for the Treatment of Chondral Injury and Disease (2023)

This review paper discusses using a patient’s own stem cells to treat cartilage injuries and arthritis in knees and ankles. Different methods of getting stem cells from bone marrow, fat, and blood are discussed. More research is still needed to know the best stem cell treatments for cartilage problems.
