TOC is a well renowned orthopedic practice and has been in business for almost 50 years with subspecialties in trauma, foot and ankle, spine, hand, adult reconstruction, pediatrics, pain management, and sports medicine.  The practice is located strategically throughout North Florida and South Georgia with 4 regional offices and two Tallahassee campuses.  Ancillary endeavors include on site X-ray, MRI, Physical Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Urgent Care Centers, and Orthotics and Prosthetics.  TOC fields team physicians for Florida State University (FSU), Florida A&M University (FAMU), and Tallahassee Community College (TCC), as well as numerous area high schools.

TOC is developing an exciting, new regional office in Panama City with plans to open in late summer of 2022.

Patient Intake Specialist
Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent education

Must have at least one (1) year of relevant work experience in a medical front office or customer service setting

CLINICAL

Clinical Support 
Requirements:

  • Must be a certified or registered medical assistant (CMA/RMA) or LPN with a current Florida license
  • Athletic Trainer must be BOC certified with a valid Florida license (or eligible)
  • Prior relevant work experience in a medical office, supporting surgeons, physicians, or other allied health professionals preferred

Orthopedic DME/Casting Technician
Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (with current, valid certification).
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid Florida license, or eligible.
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited athletic training curriculum.
  • Florida licensure (or eligible).
  • Prior relevant work experience in a medical office, supporting surgeons, physicians, or other allied health professionals preferred.

Physician Assistant

Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic has excellent opportunities for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to participate in all aspects of medical care and the treatment of orthopedic patients. This position is an office-based, non-surgical position treating orthopedic patients in a clinical setting within our Extended Hours Clinic. Working schedule is Monday through Friday. Three to five years of relevant orthopedic experience is required.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program, in addition to Florida licensure (or eligible).
