This review paper highlights the importance of treating chronic pain with a multi-specialty team. The strong links between chronic pain, anxiety, and depression and recent research suggest that a positive mindset (i.e., resilience) may offer benefits to a patient’s trajectory for wellness and responsiveness to treatment.
