TOC is pleased to now offer the Zimmer Biomet’s ROSA® Knee System as a new expansion of the state-of-the-art robotically-assisted surgical system offerings designed to enhance joint replacement procedures. This new technology helps TOC’s joint replacement surgeons to personalize procedures for their patients. The ROSA Knee includes features to assist with bone resections and assessing the state of soft tissues in order to facilitate implant positioning intraoperatively. The data provided with the ROSA Knee System enables surgeons to use technology to control and move surgical instruments, allowing for greater precision and flexibility during procedures.

“Robotics and especially the ROSA Knee System, is the future of modern joint replacement surgery,” Dr. Brad Walter, TOC Total Joint Surgeon, said. “The decision to have a joint replacement surgery is often difficult for my patients. With the level of precision that can be achieved with ROSA, we hope this will bring them ease and make their decision an easy one moving forward.”
TOC is one of the only Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the country to offer both the ROSA and Mako robotic surgery systems.

“We started this journey of offering minimally invasive procedures with the initial addition of the MAKO SmartRobotics system, and proud to be expanding our options of surgery with the ROSA Knee system at TOC.,” said Mike Boblitz, CEO, “We continue to see a strong community desire to experience joint replacement surgery in an ambulatory surgery center setting and we are pleased to make this latest investment to help enhance services for our patients.”
