Augmentation of ACL Autograft Reconstruction With an Amnion Collagen Matrix Wrap and Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate: A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial With 2-Year Follow-up (2023)

The objective of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of wrapping a collagen matrix around an ACL graft and injecting it with a bone marrow-derived concentrate. The authors found that while the modified graft/procedure was safe, it did not appear to improve the thickness of the graft as measured by MRI.
