Brandon Cabarcas, MD

Dr. Brandon Cabarcas is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon ho joined TOC in 2025. He practices at the Capital Medical Clinic, where he specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee, with a focus on helping athletes and active individuals return to peak performance.

Dr. Cabarcas completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of South Florida, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident, followed by advanced fellowship training in sports medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. During his fellowship, he served as a team physician for the Minnesota Twins (MLB), Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA), and several collegiate and high school teams.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Cabarcas has contributed research in shoulder, elbow, knee, and hip surgery, with multiple publications in leading journals such as The American Journal of Sports Medicine and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Cabarcas enjoys fitness, paddle boarding, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family. A South Florida native, he is fluent in English and Spanish and is proud to serve the Tallahassee community
